This is the story of Our Lady of Walsingham!

Invoked for Salvation from Storm and Shipwreck;
Provider of Calm Waters and Safe Harbor to those facing troubles...
Feast Day: September 24

In the 11th Century, in what is referred to as “England’s Nazareth,” Norfolk, Our Lady appeared to the Royal Lady Richeldis, in 3 apparitions. Our Lady told Lady Richeldis to build a home like the one where the Arch Angel Gabriel had greeted her and she showed the home to Lady Richeldis in the visions. The builders Lady Richeldis hired to do the work creating the house had great difficulty getting it completed. Lady Richeldis prayed for help and her pleas were answered. Angels came down from Heaven to get the job done. They also moved the building 100 yards after they completed the work. Many miracles were attributed to the area where the home is located and when King Edward visited, he was saved from death by falling rocks. It is believed that all who revere Our Lady of Walsingham shall enjoy salvation from storm and shipwreck, and she will also provide calm waters and safe harbor to all who are facing troubles.
